Lisa Manolis

Convening Coordinator

Convening Coordinator Lisa Manolis plans and executes a variety of internal and external events, collaborating with ECMC Foundation staff to deliver impactful event experiences that foster collaboration and innovation.

Prior to joining ECMC Foundation, Lisa worked as the event coordinator for ECMC Group. She began her career as the platinum events manager at the AT&T Customer Briefing Center in Bedminster, New Jersey, for nearly 10 years. At REED Academy, a school for children with autism, Lisa worked as the development manager, managing New Jersey’s largest charity bike ride that funded the Academy.

She was recognized as Meadowland Chamber of Commerce Small Businesswoman of the Year in 1991 as owner and president of Bartola & Manolis Advertising, Inc., specializing in servicing clients in the hospitality industry.

Lisa has more than 20 years in the event industry. She studied mass communications at the University of South Dakota and New York University.

Why are you working at ECMC Foundation and committed to working toward improving higher education for underserved learners?

I’m at ECMC Foundation because I’ve seen firsthand how life-changing education can be. Nearly 40 years ago, I made the difficult decision to leave college just a few credits shy of my degree to pursue a career opportunity. Back then, the world looked different—doors felt more open, even without a traditional credential.

Today, the landscape is very different. Too many underserved learners face systemic barriers that make completing their education—and securing a better future—far more difficult. My commitment is rooted in personal experience: I know how vital access to education is, especially now.

That’s why I’m proud to be part of ECMC Foundation. We’re working to break down those barriers, back bold ideas and open pathways for students who deserve every chance to thrive. It’s not just a mission—it’s personal.
