Jessica Diep

Manager of Grants Administration Jess Diep oversees grantmaking operations and systems, leveraging technology to streamline processes, developing policies for effective grants management and fostering cross-departmental collaboration to drive efficiency and maximize impact. With expertise in strategic planning, data systems management and capacity-building, she brings a comprehensive approach to philanthropy and grants administration.

Prior to joining the Foundation, Jessica served as a research and evaluation program manager for the City of Los Angeles Mayor’s Office of Community Safety-Gang Reduction and Youth Development (GRYD), where she led the development and implementation of GRYD’s diversion and reentry programs and oversaw the implementation of GRYD’s intervention and prevention programs and initiatives. She brings experience in managing complex data systems, strategic planning, program development and evaluation, and providing capacity-building support. Her experience also includes serving as a research associate at California State University, Los Angeles, and the University of California, Los Angeles.

Jessica holds a Master of Science in forensic psychology from California State University, Los Angeles and a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from the University of California, Los Angeles.

As a first-generation college graduate, I’ve experienced firsthand how higher education can open doors, shift trajectories, and empower individuals and communities.
