Bryan Fahrbach

Associate Program Officer Bryan Fahrbach supports the work of the program team and its grantmaking. He is responsible for meeting with potential applicants to understand how their work aligns with the Foundation’s funding priorities and advising them on the grant application process, reviewing grant proposals and reports, and managing the Foundation’s employee engagement grantmaking programs.

Prior to joining ECMC Foundation, Bryan was a program associate on the health team at California Community Foundation, supporting the administration of $15 million in federal CARES (Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security) Act funds from the Los Angeles Department of Public Health to hire and train more than 900 community health workers to conduct outreach and education about COVID-19 in the hardest hit areas of Los Angeles County. Previously, he was an organizational learning specialist at First 5 LA, developing and conducting structured sessions for project teams to reflect and capture learnings in a safe space to promote continuous improvement.

Bryan holds a Bachelor of Arts in French and Italian from Indiana University Bloomington.

I am committed to improving higher education for underserved learners because attending college greatly expanded my knowledge, my worldview and my professional opportunities, and I believe that all people, regardless of background or economics, should be able to enjoy the better quality of life that higher education can help provide.
