Alyssa Park

Convening Specialist Alyssa Park develops and implements learning programming within ECMC Foundation.

Prior to joining ECMC Foundation, Alyssa worked at the National Center for Institutional Diversity at the University of Michigan, where she managed an online research publication focused on community-based organizations. Alyssa began her career in college access as an AmeriCorps member, working alongside students in a college access program in the Chicagoland area. Alyssa brought her passion for education equity and access to College Greenlight, where she led outreach efforts to engage new community-based organizations on a nationwide scale. She also brings experience in research project management and higher education program management and administration.

She is an alumnus of the Institute for Recruitment of Teachers associate fellowship program.

Alyssa holds a Master of Arts in higher education administration from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Arts from Smith College.

Why are you working at ECMC Foundation and committed to working toward improving higher education for underserved learners?

I am interested in how educational institutions can be both a place of great opportunity and mobility and a place that perpetuates cycles excluding historically marginalized communities.
